That wouldn’t have prevented me from seeing this or any other user that hasn’t been blocked. Also if I blocked every user that discussed US politics I would spend more time blocking than browsing.

Are you realistically going to stop them from posting? This seems circular in a way. Because you really aren’t unless you get the rules changed for an entire community specifically meant for no rules.
