The way I make my tea these days is the ultimate tea pussy way. Half boiling water, half cold or milk. Drink straight away.

fiddling about with the Tea Button and I figure hey, someone else has had to do this so lemme look and crib off their keyâŚand in finding preprogrammed values I have discovered that I am apparently a filthy, filthy tea peasant who should be shot because ten minute steep time for black tea is an abomination.

theyâre amazingly forgiving in how long you can leave them before the tannins get narky. Which is probably why they need to be steeped so long.
