    Is it just a type of mustard plant or is it a garlic and mustard sauce/mix?

      Alliaria petiolata is a pretty common herb in Europe (at least here in Germany) and it is related to mustard, cabbage plants and rapeseed. Garlic plants are not related to it at all and are very different.

  I get it occasionally in my yard the last few years. It’s invasive where I’m at. However I do see the appeal of it, it smells like it’s name, garlic and mustard. I never tried cooking with it. I should next time.
