  Underwhelming is a more appropriate wording. It’s a good game. It just leaves more to be desired. Especially after all these years of development.

  Totally agree. It should win the greatest DLC award if there was one… and even there will have some competition from Cyberpunk

    It definitely wasn’t just DLC, but the new stuff wasn’t built quite right for the new powers.

    What was so great about the runes in BOTW was that the world felt perfectly built to utilize them.

    But when you take that same fairly flat world and try to implement more verticality, it feels tacked on and incomplete.

    Oh well, maybe “BOTW” 3 will overhaul the world to fit better with the mechanics.
