Not just for the ones in the closet either. Hetero people are told their entire lives that sex is bad and internalize that their desires are evil, then they get married and you expect them to suddenly have a healthy sexual relationship?

As an econometrician / data wonk, I’m pretty sure we are past ‘plausible’, more like well into ‘you could do a legitimate scientific paper on this and essentially prove it, and now we’re arguing over error bounds and precise methodology’.
