Wait… An integer number? As opposed to floating point?
Thats what discrete means (in an mathematical context)
Teeeeechnically floating point is still discrete as there is not arbitrary accuracy. Discrete just means not continuous, and floating point has limits of accuracy ie limits of continuity.
As opposed to a non-integer real number I assume
