S01 was exactly the strange vibe I was hoping for from it, but, by the time I got up to the agoraphobia plotline, the vibes had shifted so significantly that it just felt like a different project altogether.
I later learned that Lynch had very little influence over that portion of the story, which made me feel a bit relieved. Every other Lynch piece Ive seen has made me feel something strong in one way or another, so finding out that he didn’t actually miss on s02 kinda made me feel like all was right in the world (or at least in this one tiny corner of it) again, silly as that may sound lol
I am glad I didn’t notice enough to impact my enjoyment! Mädchen Amick will do that to a guy (or Sherilyn Fynn) (or Kyle MacLachlan) (or David Duchovny…)

Same. I hear season 2 is a bit of a rough watch (for tonal reasons) but worth it for what comes after and how it all adds up in the end.

The original seasons are so dreamy and bizarre. Totally worth if you accept what you’re in for. Still have to watch the movie and new season
