Grostleton@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 day agoI picked it up ~a year after launch and, while fun, it still had so many issues and lacked polish that it was hard for to recommend it to anyone.
It only got a lot of fixes and QoL stuff added relatively recently, so you picking it up now is probably for the best.

New content and major balance changes are slow to roll out, but they’ve always been worth the wait IMO, and you can see the devs passion to make a great game come through with the amount of detail and care they take with new features.
Plus they’re very connected with the community and balance stuff has more or less always been received positively (though there’s always going to be a few haters.)
