  We don’t know if they were bragging or not. It’s pretty common to ask what someone’s job is during small talk. For all we know he literally just said his job title and left it at that.

    I think bragging about how much money or education you have is very low class. I also think this is how you end up with a golddigger wife. Better to hide your wealth.

  Jobs come up pretty damn often in conversation with strangers. If they ask, youre obliged to tell them the truth. Doing so would hardly constitute bragging in my opinion.
