SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 week agoGoing off their other comments, the furry/tech population here, and their mention of specific bars, Seattle. Don’t worry though, I’m in the same area/culture and still find it kinda weird to throw out a location like that.
To be fair to them, though, the op post does reek of capitol hill furries and techno queers being commonplace and pleasantly weird. So common, that even outside of that city, there are occasional furry bars and coffee shops and stuff. It’s actually really nice.

Ah, nice city. I’ve been there a few times, but somehow I’ve never bumped into a furry. I always spent more times in the wilds nearby though, so maybe that does the trick.

You almost certainly have bumped into a furry if you’ve spent a fair deal of time in Seattle.
They… just… aren’t always wearing their fursuits, corporate tends to frown on that.

Right, but, it seems like, according to this picture and a lot of the folks commenting, that if you meet a furry you will know, probably by dint of them telling you.
