Contramuffin@lemmy.world 3 days agoI liked Control but Alan Wake was a sludge. Its age really shows. That being said, it wasn’t necessarily bad enough that I couldn’t tank through the game, but if Control were in lower A tier, Alan Wake would be upper C tier

Yeah AW1 honestly isn’t that fun. I played about half of it and then just read the story and watched some videos about.
AW2, however, is excellent. Very very good. And I spent enough time with it to get the platinum trophy.
