Comment on How do Ghostwriters work? Does the person the book is about say to the writer I will give you 2 or 20 percent of the sales or is it a 50 50 split?

They usually get a set amount payable on submitting a final draft, or a salary. Which, if it’s an ego project, might be more lucrative than a percentage of profits.
