  Fake IDs are a whole industry in the US. I don’t think I personally knew anyone with one, but it was certainly a thing.

  Also older siblings or friends.

      No clue, but I was curious too, so I found this which says:

      “the most common amount people paid for it was between $51-$100.”

  I don’t think it’s particularly hard to get alcohol underage in most of the US. In New Jersey you can drink underage as long as you’re in a “private location” and there’s a relative who’s at least 21 present.
