My first plant order has arrived

It’s mostly natives, plus a couple of lemon trees and some rosemary. I’ve got a few more perrenial herbs on order too and another box of natives I’m expecting next week. I need to sit down and do a proper planting plan, at the moment I’ve got a rough mental plan but need to sit down and work out the specifics.

I aim to get the rest of the cardboard/mulch down this afternoon so I can do some planting tomorrow. I got some compost today so I can dig that in when I plant, which will hopefully be enough for the plants to get a foothold. The soil seems to be mostly clay so could have some drainage issues but otherwise doesn’t seem too terrible.
