So I wanted to initalise an SSD I got for my Bazzite laptop that it’s not reading. In the process I removed the wrong SSD, the one that has the OS on it. Now it’s not recognising any SSD and isn’t booting.
Is it possible to get the SSD back and and keep going as normal or will I need to reinstall? It’s only a small inconvenience if I have to reinstall the OS, I’d just like to save the time if I can.

It’s posting and says it’s not detecting any bootable media. It goes to booting by https which is last in the boot order

Is it not detecting the ssd in bios?

It’s not picking up anything bootable. I can’t find a way to check what storage it can detect, all it says is the two nvme slots are on

Maybe the hdd header is corrupt.

I’ve stuck a drive with Mint on it in the laptop and it can to.d the blank uninitialised SSD but not the original one that has bazzite on it. I was able to buy this laptop off work because the drive was failing. Maybe taking it out finally killed it off.
I’ll tinker around some more and see if I can get back what I have, otherwise I just have to reflash bazzite and download my games again
