You know, it may be possible that all the ass-kissing is being done by people who also need their names scrubbed from the Trumpstein files.
Or else, they really just have no problem associating with a child rapist. Business or not, it has terrible optics.
For some like Gates, they probably want to keep the list private since they are on it; I feel like this was a big reason for his divorce.
For others, it is likely centered around the idea that Trump will let them do whatever they want as monopolies. It will shoot themselves in the foot as other countries dump US tech, but they will be able to keep their domains within the USA.
Or perhaps they realize or perhaps they realize he has no idea what the technology is capable of and they can make Mass databases and run wild while no adults are watching.
