      If I’m not mistaken, I think that when you buy soda in Mexico, they often pour it into a bag, so I’d guess it’s just coke or something. Not sure about beer and stuff though.

        You are correct. Mexico still recycles their soda bottles, so the vendors give you the soda in a bag and keep the bottle, because they don’t trust people to return them anymore.

      I think it’s to make it look like you’re not drinking alcohol in public, it’s illegal in some places.
