Claiming you are smarter because your taste in something is different than others is dumb and ignorant. Making fun of others for their taste is tasteless, childish and sad.
Whether or not you like metal, it can be well structured, musically complex and have highly political statements and well made lyrics. It had been an inspiration for many other musical genres. I wouldn’t call that garbage and I wouldn’t call the people listening to that stupid. It’s not my favorite genre but I don’t think I’m better because of that. I understand music and can recognize quality in music, even when it’s not my preference.
The metalmemes comm loved it, but I suppose I’ll kneel to the humor czar. I’m very sorry to have rustled your jimmies, and I hope I only post things that are safe humor without a hint of edge you might cut your poor lil fingies on!
