It was one of the first titles of thid genre on PC, it’s the work of one fucking person, it’s afaik the first title that focused for the NPC stories on a bridge emotional range, the price of the game remained relatively low for all this and even though the game released 9 years ago it’s still maintained and updated for free and on a regular base. Last bit not least there is an awesome modding community as well.

Saying there’s nothing concerned ape or SDV in general age exceptionally good at, is definitely not true. It can be not you cup of tea, that’s fine, but I play a fuckton of games and none deliver a comparable product support, game development over time and inclusion of the community. And that’s what people love about this game.
