Well yeah, if your average person doesn’t feel the sting when your labor is absent, how else can you guarantee majority support? To paraphrase a wise man, when you forget that things need to be built you are at risk of inheriting a system you rely on without gratitude.

Davriellelouna@lemmy.world 5 days agoI don’t agree with what Joe Biden did. You have to keep in mind the country he is running. Americans are very hostile to unions. A massive strike railroad strike would have ENRAGED your average american.
But overall, he was a very pro-union President.
