  Counterpoint, you’re not wrong in saying that we all should care about this, but if you look at other circumstances like the Civil War and Yemen, I don’t think most people do care about most things. We only care about this one because we’re invested in the Holy War.

    There have been plenty of uproar about the crisis in Yemen, but ultimately the US didn’t budge from their support of Saudi Arabia, and then… what more is there to do?

    It’s hard to build up momentum for a movement without the media on your side, and now Israel Palestine is in the news a lot, so that takes the focus. I sure would love to give more aid to stop bloodshed, poverty, and other crises.

      I’ve been saying I hate what Israel does (and to some extent Israel itself since it’s it’s sole purpose it seems) for a long time but saying that made me antisemitic. (Even though my disdain has nothing to do with them practicing any kind of religion, but is because of their actions.)

      Now it’s more acceptable.

      Dude, I don’t care either. I’m using it in jest. I think it’s dumb that we’re letting a holy war take up so much of our attention. Whether we like it or not, it is a holy war, and that’s the problem.
