tamal3@lemmy.world 1 year agoWasn’t there something about not throwing uncooked rice at weddings… as it was causing bird deaths because the rice would expand in their stomachs and kill them? Might be misremembering that.

I was wrong, you were wrong! We can throw rice at weddings again. I have a great picture of my mom getting married outside with rice being thrown in her face.
