Even on an individual level, like what is the point of blocking someone if they can still fully interact with your posts and comments, just you can’t see it.

That’s a mute, when Xitter tried (or did? Idr) to downgrade their actual block to essentially the same thing that Lemmy has now it was met with outrage.

Proper blocking should be a core feature of any social media, it’s not a ‘nice to have’ feature that can be developed when there’s time for it
