I should clarify - when I mean hear a ‘counter argument’ I mean listening to right leaning media. I subscribe to Piers Morgan, Sky News etc because although I don’t agree with many of the concepts and viewpoints I need to try and understand their reasoning

It helps me avoid my own echo chamber.
Its interesting to have my views questioned and critcised. It also helps me understand the reasoning of people I don’t agree with. How they formed their ideas and why they believe their view is superior to mine.
