I've helped out older folk who had no one. Fixing their TVs, computers, telephones. Giving them company. Listening to them.... but the amount of time I spent with them is miniscule, since I have my own family to take care of
Their loneliness is palpable

however some people have been sold all kinds of delusions so I wouldn't necessarily blame some of them personally
hopefully they can warn others of their fate, and be helped if they are a victim of propaganda about overvaluing a kind of childless independence

To folks like me, that would be heaven. It isn't about delusions on my part. I am just a loner, independent, asexual, and not a social person. And I don't think I am able to have kids. I get sick of strangers refusing to treat me as an equal adult, acting like I need more help than others with things I'm actually much better than them at. I can't believe the number of people I encounter with Dunning-Kreuger syndrome (stupid people who think they are experts and everyone else is stupid).

No. This is on us. You, me, everyone. We were not loud enough. We didn't resist enough. We didn't love freedom enough.
Had we fought back like demons, we wouldn't be in this hell. But we just thought, "Hey, at least I am not the one who has to lose their job over this".
Only a handful were brave enough to stand up and tell the truth.
I wish we had resisted violently. That we were the insurrectionists the Left wanted us to be. We could have stopped this
