Franzia really stepped up it’s game.

Also, boxed wine has an undeserved bad rap. It’s not, like, an amazing wine…but it’s inexpensive, it ships well, and it stays good in the box for a while, so I’m not tempted to finish the bottle.

See a box with a built in tap is dangerous for me, it lasts half as long as it would in a bottle. Plus I swear it makes for the WORST hangovers.

  True, but for $~20 I can buy like, a six-pack of premium domestic beer, a 4-pack of craft beer, or 3-5 litres of wine. Box wine is the clear value winner, and tastes significantly better than cheap beer.

Similarly to how wine bottles with metal caps used to be frowned upon, because “all quality wines were bottled with corks”. I’ve had both awful and great wines from both corked and capped bottles.
