Yes they do. They even admit it’s a terrible design because they have to add a second smaller slightly-turned light so you can actually see the light when you’re stopped at it.

That's usually for Cyclists. The rest of Europe also has their traffic lights on the right side without the smaller light

See the thing is, this could be just about any road in any city in north america. We refuse to build real places, just lanes and parking lots
