oh fuck off, i was with you until this point. yea I dont like seeing my country being used as the benchmark for when the west does shitty things. the OP gave a pretty measured response and was thoughtful, patient, and non defensive.

I agree that I think it’s silly to draw everything back to “Orientalism”.
I would just say that North Korea and Enver Hoxha were/are based and good, actually.
