umbrella@lemmy.ml 4 days agoi lived a lot of my life in concrete apartments, you can’t hear your neighbours unless they are being obnoxiously loud, or the apartment is obnoxiously small. which to be fair seemed to be some of those, but still.

Yeah, I’ve lived basically my whole life going from commie block to commie block and I have never had problems with hearing the neighbours. Only in one of them where the bathroom was kind of unfinished so I could hear the neighbour from 3rd floor playing their piano (idk how the hell they got it in there), but none other than that.
