Itâs bullshit AND shenanigans. If the vote was legitimate, we likely wouldâve made it to the Grand Final. Turns out we were rank 11 in our semi â just outside the qualification rank â and look who dominated it. ESC has avoided a major disaster though. If the winner was different today the competition next year could have been unrecognisable in terms of participating countries and viewership.

Yeah Mrs b was surprised Sweden and Finland didnât do better. Was trying to explain thatâs what happens when someone sucks up all the votes. A lot of acts deserved better this year. Be interested to see if the EBU do something, but I dunno what can actually be done short of kicking them out. And given they didnât do that last year when they were a lot more justified, and that they resigned their major Jewish sponsor itâs a rock and a hard place of their own shitty decisions coming back to bite them.
