    It's always been super spotty for me. Sometimes it doesn't work for a few hours, sometimes for a few days. It usually ends up working again after a bit. I ended up moving to mostly using yt-dlp instead, as it's more consistent. I don't know of a more reliable phone-option tho :(

    The whole point of these apps is that they are local, independent from algorithms and YT’s surveillance. If you want to synchronize something, you’ll have to do it manually.

    iOS ain’t friendly to any kind of 3rd party app

  I will use it when google decided to block my adblocker, but for now I kinda need to use yt with my account and I like “mixed playlist” I discovered many great music with it

    Revanced has a patched yt music app. No ads, background play, and I use the super mix playlist a lot.

    Fo those that prefer Spotify, check out spotube. Available for phone and Google TV.
