My orthopedic surgeon uses this exact same system (phreesia). I can’t leave the practice, because they’re the only ones in my area who will accept my insurance.
Isn’t that fun?

I would absolutely leave that practice.

The illusion of choice under capitalism
Yes. One always has the option to call the office and speak with someone, but this isn’t much of an option if the practice fired the employee who used to answer the phones because now they have this handy no-contact solution that just so happens to cost a little bit less per month than what they were paying Brenda to answer the phone. Also, it will cost more than Brenda’s salary in a year when prices go up to increase shareholder revenue.

Good luck finding an office that doesn’t use Phreesia. It’s everywhere.

I’ve never seen a television screen facing the waiting room in any of my dentists office. Ive had 4 dentists in the last 5 years and I’m in the market for a new one now.
No idea what you’re talking about.
I would never even entertain giving a medical professional my business if they had advertisements facing clients. Nonsequitir.

Good, keep that dentist. Phreesia seema to be geared towards typical doctor’s offices and hospitals, not dentists.
