It’ll probably cost more to retrofit that place than just to build a brand new one. Tho I like how he wants criminals to serve real time.

I mean I life the concept but the truth is Alcatraz is falling apart. That is why they abandoned it. The salt water eats the shitty concrete. I have been there at least half a dozen times. It is cool as hell.

Yeah, the money spent to fix it all is a waste. Just build a new supermax somewhere out in the middle of Kansas. Everything would be more inexpensive there anyway.

Alcatraz is falling apart. It’s why it was closed. It also wouldn’t meet modern standards for prison. It’s a very hands on prison but we have went to more hands off models.
