Same family as ‘Daddy Long Legs’? From my colloquial knowledge they eat -missionaries- mosquitos, so pay them no mind if your tent is crawling with them.

Yep! “Daddy long legs” is a widely applied colloquial term for harvestman, or opiliones. Though I’m sure some spider species are also called that by some people.
