I’m pretty sure “reunion” shows have been a thing since TV existed long enough to have reunions.
Sometimes they do the big cast get together where a random celebrity interviews them. Sometimes they do a movie. And more recently we get our limited TV show run.
It’s always fun to imagine where our favorite characters ended up.

Often it’s more fun to imagine than to actually find out. Especially when the show is remade without several major characters who are too famous to bother returning, or dead, or in jail for something nobody wants to talk about.
