Comment on Now that the US is under influence by Russia, what will happen to Whistleblower Edward Snowden?

I doubt Trump will do anything that could be perceived as encouraging more whistleblowers, at least while he’s in office.
Best case—a Democrat wins the next election, Trump gives up on trying to stop it, and pardons Snowden on his way out.

Lol, imagine the villain wanting to cause chaos and inadvertently doing the right thing. While the protagonists stick to their “norms and traditions”, even if the norm are wrong. Ironic.

Just putting it out there that Snowden and the journalist he worked with, Glenn Greenwald, were and are both a lot more right wing than they seemed to a lot of folks on first glance.

I mean… yea… just because someone did a good thing, doesn’t make them a perfect human. I mean Gandhi slept with his niece (allegedly)

Glenn, yes. Snowden I don’t think so. My impression of him is that he wants to unite everyone against surveillance, and doesn’t want other issues to get in the way of his messaging/work about that. I could be wrong.
