MooseyMoose@lemmy.world 14 hours agoProteins are formed from amino acids and it is actually harder for you to assimilate when ingested as already assembled animal proteins as it needs to be broken down and rebuilt by your body. You can get all the aminos you need from vegetable sources such as potatoes, nuts, legumes, leafy greens etc.

Technically yes, but the main point was you don’t need animal proteins and they are harder to process for your body.
