    Idk how it would go in the microwave but you could try. Halve the amount and zap it to get the pasta cooked in the water. Then add the milk and do short bursts on lower power with frequent stirring, mix the cheese in at the end.

    I’m currently not able to eat very much and no longer tolerate even low lactose cheese otherwise I’d test and troubleshoot for ya
