So this is an instance issue? I use Lemmy primarily through Boost on my phone and have never been able to upload an image directly. Same error as the OP, only I also get a 403 error.

Pretty sure it’s specific to lemm.ee, yeah, since my fallback when it’s not working here is to just hop to lemmy.world.
