Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 3 days agoI’m guessing you’ve never seen a car getting prepped for new paint then. The panels are sanded down and bare metal is showing. This is probably going to get painted this weekend. Not everyone has two cars, so they’re driving this around while in the mean time.

I grew up on a 40 acre junkyard, I’ve seen it all. This is not how a car gets prepped for a paint job, this is just straight up white trash 'murica shit here.
Note the American flag on the roof, that appears to have been done professionally at least. I’ll give them this much though, they ain’t about to forget where they parked in a Walmart parking lot. 😂🤣
