Antonio Banderas in the 13th 81st Warrior.
Michael Crichton’s Eaters of the Dead is a decent book. The film adaptation The 13th Warrior is mediocre and campy at best.

I’ll admit I kind of love Antonio Banderas when he’s in something campy.
I’d prefer they swing for the fences, then.
Like pretty much every scene he’s in when he’s in the Spy Kids movies.
People who grew up with those movies must be in for a real shock if they ever end up watching Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!
Call me a poser, but I prefer him in The Skin I Live in.
