I mean, sure, he’s getting real paid, but being stuck in the contract means he can’t choose to be in better films that might get him more well known as an actor.

Instead, he may just languish in relative obscurity because while he’s been in great stuff prior to the MCU, the MCU has taken a lot of his time away from more quality projects.

He’s a good actor, and on some level I’m sure he’d appreciate being known for his talents and not known for being a forgettable MCU star because the writing was so bad, no matter how much money he makes.

But who knows maybe he’s happy with the money and doesn’t give a shit if people think he’s good at his job or not.
