Comment on I have seen myself mentioned a few times out of the blue and I have a few things to say/ask
shinigamiookamiryuu@lemm.ee 1 month ago“Wade through my manifesto to hear that I’m just asking you guys to remove a post” doesn’t really feel like a good way to get people on your side.
Listening to the other person didn’t seem to come off as a problem. And he assembled arguments and citations like they were tetrominoes.

It absolutely was. Lots of people in the comments were saying they weren’t going to check all their links or read the whole thing. If you look, I didn’t have a top level comment, and this is precisely why.
Well, that and because everyone else already said what I would’ve said; “I’m not going to read this” or “you want me to watch a fucking YouTube video?”
No one here wants to wade through a bunch of bullshit to try and read the points any of you think you’re making. If you want people on your side, you’ll need to clean up your posts, make your points as concisely and cleanly as possible, and for God’s sake, if someone tells you “stop talking about this” or “block people and move on,” do that. Don’t just keep posting a link to someone telling you politely to shut up over and over and over again!

That would not fit the particular situation.
