It’s not a hard rule you broke, but you also used “nested parentheses”.

CraigOhMyEggoAlt@lemmy.wtf 10 months agoIf anybody is accusing you of being an alt of Call Me Lenny/Leni, it’s because neither of you seem to know how to write for readability.
It takes thirty seconds to see what instances someone has posted in and which ones they’re banned from. You all used language (which, again, is because we commission each other to include things in each of our posts) to conflate me with her when all you had to do was use the modlogs. If she is seeing all of this right now, I wouldn’t be phased if she withdrew that promise of hers. People are just impossible.
The only mistake I made in my explanation was in not elaborating that the “true” of the two pictures was a stand-in.

Unless you mean “air parentheses” which is often what that means, without them, “nested nested parentheses” would be impossible.

Unreadability is a circumstance. Nobody owns that. It can describe several of us. And yet it’s not all that objective.

I mean you talked about how the two of you collaborate on messages, right? So it shouldn’t be a surprise to you that your posts are very similar in the way they’re difficult to read.
