LBJ had one on his farm. He loved to pretend that his car lost control and would crash into a lake to numerous guests.

Actually saw these being driven in the streets in the 60s.
I’m pretty sure I saw one coming out of a lake, but I can find anyone to confirm, so I may be recalling something on tv.
