Maybe go for a 1200W PSU… Just to be sure. And FYI the 50 gen is just about being released so the 4090 will be dated a little faster.

1200w is unnecessary for these specs. I have a 7700X & a 4090 and my PC never draws more than 450w from the wall.

I would be careful with recommending trying to price-optimize power supplies. Sustained/average power draw under load is not peak power draw, and tolerances beyond the rated PSU wattage vary by manufacturer.
The OP is also looking into the RTX 5090, which is even more power hungry.

I know; I have a 1000w PSU.
The point I’m making is that 1200w is overkill in 99.9% of builds. Nothing more, nothing less.
