Probably left a bit long before harvest?
You could treat them like the starchy marrowfat peas. Have some mushy peas with a pie or fish and chips

The woollies homebrand peas are really dreadful.
No matter how I cook them or for how long theyre hard and starchy.
It’s so dreadful, thank god I managed to get peas from Aldi. I didn’t notice the Aldi peas being like that but I’ll find out in the next few days if I was just imagining it.

I’m almost done with the pack so I’ll be rid of them soon.
Just had enough after 3kg of them.

Aldi frozen stuff is usually solid in quality. I think most of it is packed in Europe, so that might be why.

Yeah. I normally get most of my frozen veg from Aldi now, seemed to be better in quality.

Their frozen green beans are shit. A lot of stalks in there. They might’ve changed now. It’s been years since I bought them from there.

I have never found good frozen green beans. It’s a veggie we always get fresh.

I use both. Frozen beans are usually an after thought in a stir fry to balance the colours.
