  Have some empathy? You’re 17, not 7. You can stop and think about the DTers in here who have stated they have family in the US, and are scared about a Fascist Dictator and his Tech Whore ruling the most powerful country on Earth for (at least) the next four years. Think about what that means for women, LGBTQ+, and POCs, and every person who didn’t vote for Cheetolini.

  Can you just stop for a second and fucking think about the people here? This place isn’t just your echo chamber, it’s for everyone. And considering you haven’t stated you have friends or family there that you’re scared for, maybe just wait until tomorrow to shit on US citizens ey?

    Well this escalated. Umm so I kinda feel uncomfortable. It’s a tough day but I didn’t read anything nefarious in Baku’s comment. It’s a magpie, with a comment to say it’s to distract from the heavier stuff. No big deal. There’s plenty of other lighter posts here today for the same reason. Like you said, 17.

    I can still express my opinion on matters. This place isn’t just your echo chamber, either. Diverse viewpoints aren’t something that needs to be removed, like you seem to think. I’ll have my opinions, as you, and everybody else does, too. You don’t need to like mine, as I don’t need to like yours

      Never said diverse viewpoints have to be removed, just that calling Seagoon defensive is out of line considering the context, which you seem to just gloss over in favour of being antagonistic towards her. She’s not being defensive, she’s giving context ffs.

      Have your opinion, didn’t say you can’t, but that perhaps you are being downvoted because you obviously lack the nuance and empathy that a day like today calls for.
