LucidNightmare@lemm.ee 5 weeks agoAre you somehow not aware that Google/Facebook/Twitter literally do the same thing? Wouldn’t it make more sense to create a data privacy law so that everyone benefits? I don’t understand why that’s so hard to grasp for some of these folks.

It would make more sense to use alternatives to those social networks. Yes, it is still bad when Americans do it.
You and I have practically zero control over privacy laws. We’re living in an oligarchy, not a democracy.
