I assume this doesn’t include streaming as the scenes they are referencing looked absolutely janky as hell when I watched it on hulu.

Even if they fixed the effects...

There was no need to have that specific model in this film, it was lame nostalgia bait since it wasn’t literally the same character. They have already had multiple models across the movies including a new one in Romulus, so it didn’t add anything since the characters are unaware of the events of the first movie.
